Adam McCabe

Adam is the current Head of Business Operations of Convictional. Prior to Convictional, he worked as the Director for Deel's Employer of Record Operations department where he brings experience working in tech and corporate ops and strategy, with a background in mathematics and statistics. Prior to Deel, he worked 4.5 years at Shopify in various operations and strategy roles, ranging from supporting revenue to helping build and oversee Shopify's entry into Canada's legal adult-use recreational and medical Cannabis markets. Although his university degrees are both in math and stats, he quickly pivoted from academia to business after landing a role at JLL in the capacity as the Canadian President's EA and Analyst as well as helping to launch the initial iteration of their CRM. During his 4.5 years there he had the opportunity to grow into a Vice President position overseeing operations and strategy for the firm's Project Delivery Services (PDS) which included oversight on M&A. His career is one that he describes as being serindiptous with equal luck, opportunity and hard work; He loves speaking with people to encourage them to think outside of the box with their career as a way to find new opportunities.
